Silviya Mihaylova is an Alumni of organisation Live Music Now! Scotland. She was part of LMN between 2008 and 2018 as a solo pianists and in a chamber ensemble with the flute player Nikola Kyosev. Between 2016-2017 Silviya was also a member of the LMN Scotland Audition panel as the piano specialist. 

As part of LMN Silviya has also worked with the mezzo-soprano Svetlina Stoyanova, soprano Oksana Mavrodii, soprano Emma Versteeg and violinist Kokila Gillett. 

Silviya was a visiting faculty at MMMF in 2013 and 2014. In that role she worked with students and teachers from the foundation as well as external musicians, giving individual classes, group classes, master classes and workshops in piano, music theory, aural training, chamber music, accompaniment and teaching. Alongside the teaching Silviya helped with the organisation of the annual events like the teachers' and students' concerts. 

Silviya graduated from 'Dobrin Petkov' with piano performance in 2007 taking the special prize of the teachers' board. Since then she has returned to the school many times, most notably organising and participating in annual Alumni Concerts between 2008-2014. 

Macgregor-Mihaylova Piano Duo

Anne MacGregor and Silviya Mihaylova first met in 2007 and one year later they started their duo. In 2009 they've won the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland's Prize for piano Duo, in 2011 they took part in the Royal Oversees League in London and have performed in Scotland, Bulgaria and Malta.
